Phi Phi hotels enjoy an unbeatable location

Invariably plugged as a luxury holiday destination, Koh Phi Phi has far fewer hotel rooms since the Tsunami wiped out the entire developed area of the island, but budget accommodation is also provided for. Nowadays the busy periods are likely to become fully booked well in advance as further development to the island has been checked by the authorities. Out of season you can find a comfortable guesthouse room for 500 baht and a hotel for 1000 baht, but over busy periods expect to pay double that. Surprisingly, post-Tsunami, there are makeshift A-frame bungalows right on the beach for the backpacker crowd, but the island is generally expensive when in demand. Book well in advance if you want the priviledge of staying on the island.

Almost all resorts and accomodation is located on the narrow strip of land sandwiched between Ton Sai beach and Lo Dalam bay.

Phi Phi Don Chukit Resort
Deals are better off season, but even at peak times this establishment offers some respectable accommodations at equally respectable prices. Rooms range from deluxe suites with the full range of facilities to simpler bungalow-style accommodations with fan and basic bathroom. Phi Phi Relax Beach Resort
Simple but clean and elegantly furnished bamboo bungalows comprise the bulk of the accommodations on offer at this resort located about 15 minutes by boat from the main pier. The area is quiet and prices are reasonable for the standard of the rooms.
